The the private bar is definitely in the old Wunderbar Space on the first Floor of VH across from the bathrooms. This is also the space that the Kids used to have Lunch. Someone sent me pics the other day of the bar being installed and other carpentry work being done. The plumbing and electrical infrastructure was already there so it won't be that hard to resurrect. Win once told me that the mushroom has many issues to address if it would ever be considered. All of the plumbing was ripped out, the windows are old and leaking and I think there might be structural concerns if they had a big crowd in there.

Lets be real. I doubt they will sell many of these passes. They didn't even sell 100 early ups passes when they were 300-400-500 $$$. It was the same 20 people every week. I think they over estimate the amount of fancy people there are who will be willing to shell out 2K.

Wow...I'm actually surprised the early ups number was quite that low. I expected a bit more. I guess with it being that low I'm now less surprised they discontinued that. And yes, I'd also be a bit surprised if they sell that many of these new passes. Part of me also wonders if it was priced high intentionally to allow it to fail (i.e. so someone can tell Alterra, "look, we tried what you asked, but this didn't work.")

Given that the real benefit is only giving you line cutting privileges for just 1 lift, I doubt they will sell enough for it to be any impact to the skiing public. Personally, I would feel like a complete schumk cutting the line with that pass. But hey, different strokes for different folks.

One thing I find interesting, besides reading about it here, I have not received any marketing trying to sell this program. Has anyone else?

Any updates on the pond level? The Clubhouse?

I talked to family up at Burke. They are seriously worried about the water situation.

This seems to also suggest that this brainwave came from Alterra HQ and someone who has no idea what is happening on the ground.

I've seen nothing beyond Sugarbush's "25/26 season loading...." YouTube video they posted yesterday had a lot of footage of the snowmaking pond, which seemed to be a way to indirectly speak to the community concern:

I received a direct e-mail. Oddly enough my dad did not. No idea who they tried to target. I spend nearly $0 ancillary revenue on the mountain, so they're barking up the wrong tree here lol.

They've been there a while...I don't quite remember how long, but I'm pretty sure quite a few years at this point.
