looking for yellow lens

goggles....something cheap, but need yellow lens for low light.....the only ones i can find are $100+ and there is no need to spend that much on goggles...

I have a pair of bolle something or others that I found at TJ Maxx last year. I like them a lot.

Check out your local TJ Maxx / Marshalls as a lot of them still have stuff left over from their ski / snowboard 'event'.

I use a pair of yellow shooting glasses from walmart, about $10 for those low light not too cold days

smith makes yellow lenses for most of their line...look for a Cascade or Fuse on sale. You might even be able to find an oakley hi-yellow on sale at sierra trading post or steepandcheap...etc. Personally I think the Smith sensor is the best flat/low light/storm lens out there. Its a rose base with a blue flash, lets in 70% of the visable light, cuts glare and enhances definition. The Oakley hi-yellow is really good in flat light too, but if the sun comes out you'll roast your eyeballs...81% visable light transmission.

A bit on the $$ side, even as an e-bay pick-up, but a real nice flat/low light lense.

My guess is helmet fitting, NO

Fogging up, probably no better now than in the 60's/70's

I haven't tried them out yet. Got them purely for gaper party purposes. I might bust them out in spring when I'm just skiing bumps and not wearing a helmet.

yup, and their yellow lens doesn't reflect any sun so if the sun pokes out your eyeballs get torched...it also doesn't provide the same level of definition. I've got no fewer than 3goggles in my bag at any time...smith sensor lens, smith ignitor lens, smith platinum lens...a mix of Fuse, Prodigy, and Phenom frames.

I have several lenses for my Smiths. I use the sensor lens much of the time but the yellow works better for me when it's socked in.

Nice! They are probably the same ones I have, and I like them a lot for night / storm / flat light skiing.

I basically only use something else if it is REALLY bright out.
