Sounds like all 151 people on board survived. Talk about a miracle

Looks good so far. Amazing video of the plane on cnn.com.

It has drifted all the way downtown from 50th street where it crashed. Looks like evryone made it.

Pilot says a flock of geese got caught in the engine.

It's prolly in the harbor by now. The ebb really moved that plane very quickly. It went from 48th street to Chelsea Pier in about 30 minutes.

If I was a passenger on that plan; there would be a LARGE gift certificate going the pilots way to the best restaurant in NYC. Complete Hero

Mega kudos to the entire crew of that plane. The pilots for having ice water running through his veins(no pun intended) and the flight crew from the accounts that I heard for keeping the passengers relatively speaking calm and able to quickly evac the plane!

Hero (and total stud) for sure. Not only keeping the passengers safe, but the people on the ground as well.

What a story! Helluva job by the pilots...and by the flight crew. It's amazing that everyone litterally walked off that plane.

Just heard on CNN that the control tower at Laguardia had a visual on the plane until it cleared the George Washington Bridge heading south over the river. Then they lost visual as the plane glided down into the Hudson.

The control tower said that the plane cleared the bridge by only 800 feet. Holy crap!!

An amazing story.

I was talking to 180 and he was doing play by play from an office building near the Hudson as the plane floated downcurrent and folks were being rescued.

That pilot is a true hero.
