Any thougths about them or dynastar. Picked em up demoed from an off mountain ski store so they are like brand new. Have not skied them yet or any dynastars for that matter. I am used to skiing k2 mod line of skis. I do woods and groomed not a mogul fan.

I picked up a pair of Demo Legend 8000's last year and I love em. I feel like they do real well in all types of conditions. I skied all conditions with 'THE LEGENDS' and really had fun. Enjoy!

I have a pair. Great powder ski for an 80 waist. Not super on ice but decent in bumps. It's a compromise ski that you can pretty much always take out and get by.

Being cheap and light @ 141 lbs, I picked up a used pair of original generation Dynastar 4800's, the softer narrower version, with demo bindings. Yea, eBay. I use them when I don't want to spend the day having to pay close attention to more unforgiving race skis. They are fun and can make turns from carves through skidding bumps & crud. I think the original versions of the 8000's (orange) and 4800's (blue) really look a lot better than their more recent versions with the pretentious graphics and the same guts. The worst thing about them is trying to stick them into the snow with tails down - the turned up tails just don't do that.

Agreed 100%. Great on just about everything but hard pack. Excellent bump ski too. I sometimes prefer it to my actual mogul skis on big slushy bumps. Very nimble ski.

I also have a set of older (blue) 4800s. Not using them much anymore but I do seem to break them out every year. Fun in powder and actually hold a better edge than my 8000s and Public Enemies. That ski helped me progress more than any other.

Hope they don't bid up... it pays off to bid in the last 20 seconds of the auction.

I see them... up to $102.50 already :(

Buying on ebay is a little risky if you don't know what you are looking for, expect too much, or don't service your own skis.

But have fun! :daffy:
