The technique part of the site is a nice place to start out, sorta a short summary of Dipiro's book. Biggest thing is your stance, needs to be tall so you can absorb bumps but keep your knees bent enough to avoid knee block. You can figure this out at home, stand straight up and rotate your shoulders as if your skis were across the hill and your shoulders are facing downhill. Your hips will be pointing about halfway between the feet and shoulders. Now bend your knees slightly, and your hips will align more with the shoulders; bending more won't do anything, that's what you use for absorption.Mogulskiing.net is good if you really want to immerse yourself in the WC style discussion.
You SOB.btw, hook line and sinker.
