I've been hitting the tiny local hills this year for my list, so think the next closest on the list are:

Bradford
SkiWard

Think they're both 30-45mins from home. Hopefully this season.

Since Powder Ridge is now closed, I have visited all of the operating hills in CT.

The closest would be Thunder Ridge just across the border in NY. A little further out would be Butternut.

Probably Holiday Valley (NJ) followed by Windham (NY).

I assume you mean Hidden Valley in Jersey.

As for me - Tuxedo Ridge (formerly Sterling Forest) in NY. It's probably about 50 minutes from me but I would have to drive past Mountain Creek, Hidden Valley and Mt. Peter to get to its roughly 400' vert.

McIntyre

After that, Granite Gorge, Dartmouth, LOC, King Pine, Cranmore, and Whaleback all about the same distance.

EDIT: Actually, Franklin, NH has a community area that I have never skied.

Yes, that's what I meant. Where is Mt. Peter? Maybe that's closer to me. I have skied Sterling Forest, Camp Gaw, and Mountain Creek, so those areas are out.

Actually, I forgot about one. Sawkill Ski Area (near Kingston, NY) is just over an hour from me, and is only about 2 miles from where I grew up and where my parents still live. (They didn't start operations there until after I moved out.) Really, though, it doesn't count. It only has 70 feet of vertical. I can't justify shelling out 40 bucks for 70 feet of vertical.

I've never been to Maple Ridge, ButterNut, Okemo or Bromley.
I'm going to Bromley next weekend though.
I had never skied Willard until this year.

Mt. Peter is in Warwick, NY on Rt. 17A, the same road that Tuxedo Ridge (Sterling Forest) is on. It's about 450' or 500' of vertical. Nothing real challenging and all groomed but it's by far the best snow conditions of my local ski areas. They really work hard to have good snow. It's also almost always the first to open and last to close out of my local areas. Great for beginners because there are many easy ways off the summit for absolute beginners.

Their site says they're an hour from the city.
