Untrue....Saddleback's woods are all set to go....no worries in there....snowpack has held up surprisingly well up there. Course it's a long drive for many but if you know where to look in New England some really good turns can be had right now.

Saddleback counts as the end of the world as well. It's not closer for most than N Vt.
I've gotten excited over two inches this year. Last year, it would have been laughable. But as others say, you take what you can get. I've touched some good woods this year
Will be making my first appearance at Saddleback this weekend and am looking forward to getting in some of those glades.

Tip: ski Muleskinner. There's typically blown in boot deep powder skier's left even if it hasn't snowed in 2 weeks.
