Hugeletdown: It was the season I had been fearing for quite sometime. All I can say now is I'm glad it's in the rear view mirror. And when I think back on it I definately have to give kudo's to the snowmakers and groomers for what they were able to do with the cards they were dealt. I'm fairly confident that next year will be a different story so I've happily started my off season dryland training routines, look forward to boating season and skiing on the water, and am eagerly anticipating next November and embarking on a brand new season.

Is that an ambulance? Talk about a WROD, Okay, not steep or gnarly enough to qualify, how about WROC, White Ribbon Of Congestion?

One word? Ongoing, at least until 4pm today. I think I may truly be done then...maybe. Overall, "wacky" works for me. It was bizarre thinking, it'll come, it'll come, then finally realizing, it ain't comin. The recent month of blowtorch weather was a befitting end. I pray this is not a trend. The hard part for me was to ski frozen granular groomers enough to stay in ski shape enough to enjoy the rare good days. I did have a handful of those. I was fortunate to have one of my Vermont trips coincide with a two day, two foot dump, the last week of February. I skied three new to me resorts, Sugarbush, Mad River Glen, and Saddleback. I don't keep track of days, but know I got about forty in, about half of normal for me, but pretty good considering.

Certainly short. In some ways, I enjoyed the challenge of carving on see-your-reflection groomers so this season took my technique up a notch (along with newly purchased Dynastar Speedcourse Ti skis). My 6 days in Jackson were awesome - except 1 that was merely good. Had a great day at Pkill and a couple of great days at Belleayre. Overall, can't complain that much about 8 really fun days along with a some just ok days.

Spastic!

Unfortunately (some may not know this) my mother passed away 2 days before that storm, I had plans to hit up Magic.

Sorry to hear that Nick. If it makes you feel any better if its the Feb storm I'm thinking of -toward the end - it wasn't that good. Merely okay.
