I little video I made from clips shot skiing at Jay last season. Props to my buddy Kev at Jaypeakvideo.com for the opening (bloody!) part.

EDIT: Thanks so far for all the comments. The above segment is 1 of 7 parts of a movie I made of our ski season last year. Most of the rest of the movie is our kids, friends, friend's kids, etc. Here is the Intro and first part because it includes an early season trip to Jay.

..and here are the end credits just 'cause they're funny

Excellent! Very well done. The helmet cam was some of the best amateur footage I've seen. Nice job!

Actually NOT a helmet cam! My friend just following me through the trees with a handheld Sony!!! The real-time footage of that clip with it's own audio is funny, with him hooting and hollering every time he almost clips a tree and then taking a sapling in between the legs right at the very end.

Sounds like you needed a camera man shooting the camera man. Getting hit in the nuts, always funny.

Too bad you guys had such bad conditions. It looks like Jay Peak must really suck, glad I've never been...

;)

AWESOME stoke! Thanks. I really do need to make it up there some day. I think I need a bit more practice skiing trees first though..

Actually, Jay is one of the best places to learn tree skiing. Lots of wide open glades on very moderate pitch such as Beaver Pond, North, Buckaroo, Timbuk, etc.

Yea, this was in a different thread to start. I didn't realize he was refering to the old one.

sorry, I tried changing the post title so it would say "more clips added" but it wouldn't let me do it. Yes, I tried going to "Advanced" in "Edit"....

I will jump on the Jay Peak video stokeage with some footage from last October. Gotta get back on the camcorder action this season, last season I did not produce much video.

edit: no idea why that is not working. direct link.

Nice stoke Steve!

FYI, I fixed your embedded video. All you need is the youtube video ID from the url (the part after "?v=") between the tags.

Example:
Code:
[PLAIN][youtube]OKincoaq7WI[/youtube][/PLAIN]

Fixed it for ya. I'm not sure why users can't change the title, but they can't..
