PINKHAM NOTCH, NH — For the 2004/2005 ski season, the Appalachian Mountain Club is expanding on its selection of "Ski and Stay" downhill and cross country skiing packages. Skiers can choose from three different lodges and nearby downhill and cross-country ski areas at some of New Hampshire's top destinations in the White Mountains and Lakes Region -- including Bretton Woods, Cannon Mountain, Wildcat Mountain, Great Glen Trails, Tenney Mountain, and Ragged Mountain.
What makes these packages different is the range of options, from all-inclusive (lodging, meals, ski ticket) to a self-service night of lodging and a ski ticket, which makes them a real cost-saver -- particularly our super-saver mid-week rates. Plus, it's not just about the skiing and snowboarding. Snowshoeing, hiking, and climbing are just steps out the door at AMC Destinations, offering a unique opportunity to reconnect with nature off the beaten path.
Packages at the AMC's Highland Center or Joe Dodge Lodge include a delicious dinner, comfortable bunkroom accommodations, a full-buffet breakfast, and a one-day ski ticket at Bretton Woods, Cannon Mountain, Wildcat Mountain, or Great Glen Trails. Cross-country packages start at $55 and downhill packages start at $69 for AMC members.
Stay at the self-service Cardigan Lodge where your package includes an overnight stay and a one-day lift ticket for a great day of downhill skiing and snowboarding at nearby Tenney Mountain or Ragged Mountain. Downhill packages start at $45 for members.
Check out http://www.outdoors.org/lodging/lodging-ski-package.cfm for all rates. Non-member and child rates are available, and offers are good from December 24, 2004 through March 31, 2005.
