While the conditions have been quite good - with few exceptions, you can't help but notice a few things.

Why does the GM have to drag huge bags of garbage to the dumpster, why has the elevator been broken all season and is not expected to be repaired until the spring (how do they get away with this ADA issue. Also people need that elevator to access the condos. and of course there is the bathroom situation...

They had a great band outside on Saturday. I understand that they had to drag their equipment up the outside stairs to the unheard stage as the elevator was out. Then the snow was not brushed off the trailer and it fell all over their equipment. You can't make this stuff up

Its obviously resort specific.

Stowe has been killing it this year with a detailed daily report. Even my local ski hill Roundtop updates daily. I've noticed that others in the Vail universe are not as prompt

I just got an email (11:14am) from Hunter - say's they got 6 inches in the last 48 hours! It is still dumping here and we have over 14 inches. The top of the mountain must have much more.

Website still not updated.

I emailed them about the elevator.........(my wife can't do stairs), she's missed all of the entertainment in the lodge. Haven't heard a word, how can they not be fined for this????

^fixed it for you! The afternoon report is great. Also like that they're often reporting daily snow depths at 4 locations including Barnes Camp (base) and Spruce peak.

Mount Snow & Stowe have local Ops or Marketing folks assigned to the report. Think Hunter has one person in the office that does it all and the snow report gets limited attention if other tasks are in need of her time.

All I have to say, is we have some of the best skiing right now. Purna, Clairs and 44 all excellent. Taylors, K and X over as well as many woods.

Beautiful bluebird day at Hunter on Friday (except for both the Flyer and Northen Express going down - thought of you @catskillman - heard people were stuck on the Flyer for 30+ minutes and received free lift ticket in compensation)

Yesterday - extremely busy, never saw lines like that. They never should have sold that many tickets. F lift line backup the hill. North side and B lift broke down, 6 pack stopped for a horrendous accident for about 30 minutes. So many injuries, helicopter was there at least 2x. Ambulance and paramedics there constantly

Then the snow became so sticky.
