Tomorrow is Pallty flex day. And I also have a coupon for Hunter I need to use (granted, the winter still have another month to go).

Wondering what the condition is like at either place. If condition is decent, I can save myself a long drive to VT for just 1 day.

Did they get rain on? How did either place holding up?

I just skied all day at Platty, it was one of the best days of my season so far. I'd say they got about 5" up top. Plunge and whatever trail is between that and Blockbuster were closed but so many people were skiing Plunge, they dropped the rope. Skier's left on Blockbuster was pretty sweet all day too. I actually made $1.25 skiing there today. I had two Bogo's that I didn't need anymore. Sold them for twenty. I almost didn't need to get out of my car, sold them to the Guy parked next to me. I think I could have gotten more for them, but I got them free so I was happy. I threw in the two tubing Bogo's I had too. They were pretty happy. I'm on my way to Whiteface now.

Not too shabby at Hunter today, minus the wind.

I'm surprised the lifts were even running today. Winds in Albany have been sustained at least 45+ mph all day, branches down all over the place. It must have not been as bad further south. I wonder how strong the wind has to be for them to shut down the lifts.

Spoke to Danielle (Plattekill) at 8pm she said it was still snowing. Go for it.

Tomorrow is the last day to get a $28 ticket if you show a non-holiday pass from another mountain too.

I'll be @ Platty too.

Looks like it stopped shortly after 8pm, but 6 or 7 on top of the 2 or 3 from yesterday should be sweet. Will be there early!

What a gorgeous, perfect, bluebird day. My babies in the woods!

It was a gorgeous day at Platty. Well worth a few photos. But I didn't have any camera with me (left phone in the car)

Coverage was decent. The newly opened blacks had a few rocks hiding just beneth the snow, as snow got scraped off, they start to float to the surface...

Snow was a bit crusty. Softer in the woods, though the hiden branches make up for it.
