I should be at Belleayre or Hunter Saturday afternoon and Sunday.

As far as I'm concerned, jumping the gun and skiing this weekend would be asking for trouble. It's going to be crouded, no matter how many areas open up for skiers. There just isn't enough time to lay down a good base or cover more than a few trails top to bottom at the major resorts. The minor ones will have one trail open and not a very challenging one. I'll be interested to see what you people report and hope it will be honest. Take your rock skiis because you'll prabably destroy your bases. There's no more than flurries in the forecast, but who knows, it might snow and you'll have a great time. I might go out next week if that's the case.

I pulled all mt gear out last to double check everything was there. I'm ready when the lifts turn.
