AT&T is supposed to be upgrading service for the Mount Snow area. I was up at my Condo the last weekend in September and the service has not improved. Has anyone heard any updates. This News Release claims AT&T is bringing 3G service to West Dover this year. Not much time left!

Doesn't look like much 3g in N.N.E. at all if this map is current. But AT&T does have good overall coverage NOT like Verizon who is absent at most northern areas. Stowe - forget about them. My friends are always useing my AT&T cell phone there

Stowe got a Verizon tower installed a year ago. Verizon coverage was solid at the mountain last winter. I know, having suffered the prior 9 years. There was an installer who posted here 2 winters ago. He installed for many of the cell companies. He was dead on right with his knowledge up and down the green mountain spine. we should find him again.

Verizon coverage at Mount Snow is great. I have to use them for wireless internet in my condo. Hopefully AT&T gets a tower up soon. If they were going to install it this year I would think it would have already been done by now.

Yup, that tower they put in ON the mountain near the top of the Tumbleweed triple last year made a HUGE difference for Verizon at Mount Snow. Full 5 bar 3G service for both my Blackberry and wireless laptop card ever since that tower was switched on! :) As long as I'm not down low in Sunbrook or The Northface, I'm good! :)

I guess location is everything cuz we are only 3 miles south of the mountain on Route 100 and Verizon is still spotty at the condo. Works ok out in the middle of the parking lot, but not well in or near the condo....makes me wonder what's in my walls.

I had good coverage this weekend at the mountain. I've found that at time, in buildings, coverage can be an issue. But whilst drinking beer with my brother inlaw and father inlaw at the base area, my signal was good. Coherency of messages to my wife probably left something to be desired....."Whereee r u gyus? youRe dad wants to go for a chaiiirlift rid..."

Hahaha. The atmosphere was pretty fun, but I was not dressed appropriately and last for only 2 beers and some food. Some of those lines were still a little long for my liking.

We currently get NO AT&T service on my gf's wireless card for her laptop. This would be very welcome news, as we don't really want to pay to have internet in the condo (esp. since she gets the wireless card for free through work). Our Verizon cell phones work great at Mt. Snow and we have generally had good success with them in Vermont compared to all our friends with iPhones (and AT&T). Stowe I believe is the exception.

I'm glad I threw a hoodie in the Jeep before we left. A vest and a long sleeve shirt would not have cut it.

Maybe the sauerkraut helped with cell reception....
