Great Steeps, Two Mtns One can outrace skiers and get two good hours on Bear Mtn before it gets crowded

Decent vertical as well

Each to their own!

I should elborate a little. I liked Attitash when it was part of ASC (season pass), we would ski Sunday River every Saturday and Attitash on Sunday, snowmobile at night or if was a holiday weekend. Most of the time Attitash was a skating rink. We did have a great 7 years in the valley but others mountains would get my vote for #1 before I would consider Attitash.

That's quite an endorsement from an all world skier.Attitash does a good job with what they have.Very low elevation, decent vertical and terrain.I think there would be about 15 other places I prefer to ski though.

I've never been to Attitash and know for sure that place wouldn't be my number one, glad you like it though.

No offense, but Attitash is one of the worst ''ski areas'' I have been to. Zero challenge, no alternative terrain, not a good feel to it. I will say that I am a Northern Vermont skiing snob, so I am biased.

Sugarbush has my vote for #1 followed by Stowe. But for a flatlander like me the drive is too long far for a weekend so I end up at Bromley which is far less crowded than Stratton. You have a good choice of terrain and the folks that ski there are like family.

Tues. $30.. buys you a lift ticket and lunch. You can't beat that.

I went there - it was nice...
Didn't think it was all that steep... Grooming seemed good.

But I prefer Wildcat..
