Believe it or not avi warnings in the High Peaks is pretty common. There are lots of places where backcountry enthusiasts can be in danger.

Yep, this new dense snow did not bond well at all with the powdery surface. Set off a little slide at MRG Sunday, and it caused a 20 ft. long fracture line with a 6 inch crown. The 1/4 of sleet halfway through the storm didn't help either.
