Just heard that they may stay open Monday if they get a good hit on Sunday. This just gets better and better. though I wish Hunter would reopen. Any chance of this Hunter?

So I would say that it prolly won't happen then. Doesn't matter, Long Island is under water as well as all the roads. And here it comes down my block.

Belleayre reported 7 inches of new snow on www.snocountry.com.

The skiing at Belleayre yesterday Sunday April 15 was excellent.

Belleayre has excellent snow coverage on the ALL trails. Amazing I had the only tracks down upper/lower Tongora yesterday 4/15 in dry snow (not wet snow) at about 10:30am.

Yep, was there 4/14 and it was still pretty good. Just learning and was happy to see they were going to stay open another week. Although now with upper mtn only open, guess I'm done for the season.

Skied Bellayre yesterday and it was awsome. They never pulled out the groomers so it was all good. Morning was the best, and as the day went on the rain slowly inched its way up the mountain.

Rocks were not a problem. I was going through all of the woods and didnt hit anything....Well I did hit my face on a tree, but thats another story.

I was there yesterday. Heavy snow. Real damage to the trees above midstation. Sounded like a war zone up there. Huge snowflakes falling. 2" in diameter.

I was up there today. Trees are still loaded up and bent over up top, but by afternoon it had gotten warm and some of the snow/ice was dropping off them.

Snow was very heavy, tricky but fun. The bump runs were definitely the place to ski since the bumps naturally pulled you up out of the crud giving you some hang time to turn. Can't wait for the weekend!

Chair 6 was closed due to the ice storm, and chair 8 was closed with a bad sensor. 8 should be running tomorrow and 6 should be up soon, definitely for the weekend.

Pretty much just caught the bug and have been a total of 3 times. Think I would be a menace on anything that wasn't green. :-o
