With the summit next week, I was looking at Sugarloaf's trail map, and I'm curious how Brackett Basin skis. What I mean is, how is the fall line oriented?
I'm mainly asking about the area on the trail map below the words "Phase 1" and "Completed", glades 65 & 66 (High Ball Glade and Logging Road) look like they're either one hell of a traverse, if the area is bowl shaped, or a real PITA to get out of, if the fall line is parallel with Sugarloaf proper.
I imagine just because of their location, that that area doesn't see much traffic. I wonder if it's worth the effort?
