For some reason, the words "Buick" and "Excitement" just don't go together for me.

We might as well just cut to the chase with this one, because we all know that by lunchtime this thread will have likely gone there, "It's Trekchick and 3 AZ guys in the back of a Buick" ;) ;)

You guyz never disappoint, do you!

I actually told my husband I was taking three guys, and that I posted the option on the internet for companions. His reply, "Have fun and take lots of pics"

Seriously, my husband would rather be run over by a semi than step foot on a golf course.
Here is a pic of him the ONE time I got him to golf with me.

Do you play contact golf? It looks like he's wearing a helmet in that pic.

I agree that Tiger makes for more excitement, but I am still looking forward to the experience. These guys are amazing!!

couldnt agree more. didnt go this year but i try to get to the GHO/Travelers/whatever they call it now here in ct. That NEVER draws too many big names but even an "average" pga pro is so far above and beyond talent wise its just amazing to watch them play.

Mickleson did play in the gho a few years ago but you couldnt get anywhere near him. Garcia was there also once or twice.

Only tournament I ever went to was the GHO about ten years ago. Daly was playing and I watched him drive over the green on the 15th hole. Granted its short for a pro course at 300 yards, but his ball probably traveled 320 through the air. I've never seen a ball explode off a club like that before.

I enjoyed myself, but have no real desire to check out pro golf.

Haha, No that is his hat. He always wears a cap.
Just for the fun of it I video'd him when he teed off during this outing. It should make you smile and cringe.
But, hey, at least he tried it, even though he hated it.

I have video of me, too, but not worth posting for entertainment value. ;)
