heading your way for a couple days on the 25th-26th...any hot tips on where to stay for cheap? think we might ski mrg one of the days w/ that $25 old ski pass deal they have going on.

If you haven't been already check out skiMRV.com. There are lots of good people over there knowledgeable of the Mad River Valley.

I just recently stayed on slope in a condo. For 6 of us, ski and stay was $2060. For four people it was like $1700. If you have at least 4 people, this could be your best bet. Bring your own food to cook in the full kitchen and eat it by the fire place.(dont forget stuff for smores)

CAUTION: a local told me (after I complained) that cable never works in the valley, so bring videos to watch at night.

Call the bush front desk....they are soo helpful no matter what. 180053sugar

Low cost lodging options that I have been to include:

-White Horse Inn - on German Flats Rd
-Golden Lion on Rte 100
-Slide Brook Lodge and Tavern ( formerly Pepper's Lodge) on German Flats Road
-HydeAway Inn - Rte 17
