I just picked up a Thule Ascent 1600 Cargo box.

I'm not sure if this is too far forward or not? I could move it back some with out hitting the tailgate, but then I'd be covering the antenna and that can't be good for the Sirius reception. From the front, it looks ok, but from the side it looks too far forward to me.

I'd slide it back and see what it does to the sirius reception. IMO having it that forward will kill your MPGs. On the pathy we have our set up so the front of the box is just behind the windshield and only take a .5MPG hit with it on.

I've got mine as far forward as possible on my Outback only because the liftgate hits the box. Looks like that's not a problem on your ride.

I keep my thule box as far back as possible so that I can still open the liftgate without it hitting. The back maybe 1 foot of my Thule is over my factory installed XM antenna, and as long as I have non metallic things in the back of the box over the antenna, I don't notice any difference in my XM reception
