The e-mail I got from them says that they are going to try to open this Friday the 16th. Here is an excerpt:
Although the snowmakers did the best they could there wasn't enough time to get enough white stuff down to open for this weekend. Don't despair folks opening day is just around the corner and the thought of opening this weekend had to pump you up a little. We are looking forward to getting it done for this coming Friday November 16th. Keep in touch and we'll let you know what's happening this week. In the mean time everyone THINK COLD & SNOW!!

They're going to do the best they can. They could have opened Sunday; actually the snowmakers thought they were going to, but the snow lasts better in whales when its warm and mgmt didn't want to push them out.
