The skiing is amazing up there. I can't believe how much snow is still on the mountain!

Although I was skiing at Wildcat this weekend, I was staying at SR and yes, there is still come nice cover. On Barker, MM, Cascade, Sunday Punch, Top Gun, and Agony are all top to bottom. Right stuff is solid till jsut about where the sun hits it below Last Tango and then skiable again.
On Spruce, Risky is skiable top-to-bottom. Amex is bare at the bottom though. Jordan/Oz have multiple lines from top to bottom that have been in the shade. Me thinks there wasn't nearly as much snow made this year at SR, which is why Jordan isn't totally cover, along with the fact SR doesn't have the elevation of the Loaf or Vermont resorts.

White Heat has okay coverage, but a lot of it was scrapped for HH2 or it would probably be skiable top-to-bottom. Again, not much snowmaking compared to years past. Finally, except for about a 30-foot patch near the bottom, Shockwave is top-to-bottom as well, better than heat actually. The Halfpipe is still in pretty good shape and would be the run out route at the bottom of Monday Mourning.

3D looks to have a top-to-bottom zipper line of bumps of the skier's left, but Dreammaker is spotty at best. Rest of North is toast.

I didn't get to see Aurora or Downdraft...

That Sugarloaf pic is crazy. They could have stayed open into June with all that snow. :-o Hopefully any new ownership will bring them back to the old days.

There is still an ungodly amount of snow up there. North and East slopes of Mt Crocker (right next to Sugarloaf) had over 4 feet of snow everywhere above 3000'. No clue how much was on the slopes, but I'd suspect a lot :)
