The one week I'm not going and it's snowing. According to Snocountry.com, they received 7" yesterday and another 4" by 11am this morning. Supposedly it's still coming down hard.

This almost makes me consider driving up to Ludlow Sat. night and staying at the Trojan Horse and then up to K on Sunday...

Waist deep?? From man made or drifting??

Man, the trail report still says all their glades are closed. I hope they open some with this dump.

The one reason why I never trust Killington reports is they'll claim to get 30 inches or so in one week yet more trails won't open up.

Yeah, but they have opened more trails and I have heard reports from people I know over at Killingtonzone.com. From what I'm hearing, these reports are accurate.

yea, but that's 30 inches on top of nothing. it takes bottomless powder to safely open glades when there is no base.. once the current snow consolidates and they get another storm, you can probably look to see more natural terrain opening up.

Definitly accurate reports. And we have 65+ inches at the snow stake on Mansfield. Elevation is pretty crucial. The lower Mtn has very little base, actually turned up some leaves on the last pitch down to the road, but up high was bottomless with plenty of base. Pucker is really covered now.

Old Man Winter

Seems like it's become rather seasonable going into March. Any more eye witness reports? I see a snowy cover outside this morning.
