I forgot goggles once. Ask JimG about it, he still gets a kick out of it.

actually, i have a box full of gloves and goggles from having to purchase stuff in the ski shop at premium prices. I probably have the most expensive collection of crap gloves you'll ever find.

About 15 years ago I did a day trip to Vermont with a couple of buddies on a cold January day bwcause I had 3 discounted vouchers. We get there and I realize I forgot my jacket. I'm pissed but I'm like ok I guess I gotta buy one. Go to the shop pick one out go to pay and realize I forgot my wallet too which had my credit cards and the vouchers:angry: Thankfully my buddy was able to cover me for the jacket and the tickets though they busted my nuts mercilessly all day and deservedly so.

These days I forget stuff all the time but since I am about 50 yards frm the lift its no big deal. If I am travelling somewhere else I always make sure I get everyting together the night before.

Only thing I forgot to do is to bring my Wawa pass with me when I went to Stratton. Paying full price pisses me off.

I once forgot to bring socks. Rather than pay for another pair when I have a boatload sitting in my drawer at home, I decided to stuff my feet in my boots -- which can be a real chore. The worst part was when I was done skiing and pulled out my sweaty and malodorous appendages from my boots. A young lady sitting across me in the lodge was looking on and said" "Gross!"

I once forgot contact lenses... while I could have ski'd blind, I figured that wasn't a good idea.... I ended up buying some on-mountain 'cheap' oversized goggles that I could wear my glasses underneath....

while packing up from a 4 dayer at Mt Snow one year, my wife (then g-freind) put all the laundry in a garbage bag....me, not realizing, took that bag along with all the condo trash and chucked it in the dumpters....needless to say, we had to buy all new socks, thermals, fleeces, pants etc.....

I forgot my boots on a daytrip with some friends to Sunapee a couple seasons ago.

Had to rent, which (obviously) wasn't ideal, but my boots were getting to the point of needing replacement anyway, and the 'performance' rental skis were much better than my own.

My gf on various trips to SR has forgotten: her pass, her ski jacket, and her ski pants... I think that's about it...
