I really like them all, how can you not when its all about skiing. In the past however I have picked Ski since it has the most about the East coast.

The latest edition of SKI features a great article (and pic) of ZERMATT!!! It also has an interesting article about Mt. Snow, and best of all, HOW TO DRIVE A GROOMER!! :D Trailboss has always wanted to know how to drive one...better watch out next time you're on the slopes...he might be behind the controls

I picked up a copy of Powder about a month ago- it's Canadian, but the articles are well written, and a good read. Not so much about resorts or technique, more like a travelogue of trips to random places. Excellent bathroom reading material, except most of the articles are too long to get through in one sitting.

I also got hit with a school fund raiser so I bought Freeskier also. Just so I can learn how to hit the parks and jump off rocks

As a photographer I totally dig Powder mag, the pics are amazing.

I ski & board but I gotta say the boarding mags are awefull, useless info and mostly ads. It seems they are more dedicated to the scene rather then the experiance.

Coulier mag has my vote for the best.

Ski mag covers a lot of the east yes, but if you want to protect a pow stash here on the east better hope they don't get wind of it, they will publish your ATM pin # if given the chance.

Boy are you ever right about that. SKI has ticked off locals coast to coast by outing POW stashes.

I always wondered if they were giving away secret stashes or just commonly known areas, now I know...

Maybe DMC and me can show evil around some Hunter OB in return for him giving us the tour of Belleayre?

Backcountry magazine, being a local project, gives great coverage to eastern skiing and also has good gear reviews.

Of course, if i'm shopping for a new Bogner one piece I reach for 'Ski'.

And those sequentials in 'Freeskier' really helped me nail that rodeo 900 mute grab.
