Thanks, it's hard to convince a 2.5 YO that she can't go skiing NOW though...

Do you have ski gear for her yet? Before it ever snowed last year I'd put on my daughters boots and skis and pull her around the house. She loved it and it gave her a feel for the equipment before we hit the snow.

No gear yet, we weren't even sure if we were going to try and get her out this year, but if this keeps up we'll have to. I think the soft wood floors in our house would get pretty scratched if I pulled my daughter around on skis anyway...

Waiting for the ski swap at Sundown. Not sure yet if we'll get her "real" equipment or the plastic stuff to just get her through this winter. I can't imagine her really going down any trails yet so maybe just the cheapos.

That would be real hard to explain to the landlord, eh? ;)

We have wood floors too, but i stuck to the area rug in the living room. My wife was looking at me funny as it was. You can take them out on the grass too. If your daughter is as small as mine (she's 25% for height and weight) you might have trouble finding boots small enough.

You want to talk about ski jones, I just landed a sweet 2 br house in downtown Jackson (5 blocks from the moose and 1 block from snow king) and I move out in 10 days. The top of Jhole is already recieving snow. I should be getting my first turns in in approx 14 days. Ive watched every ski flick I can find in the past week, and Ive still got a major snow hard on.

We have no rugs of any sort in our apartment. No problems with my kids being too small, they're both at the top of or off of the charts altogether.
