WFIF, I learned to ski at Gunstock and the mountain already has a phenomenal learning area and is a great place to bring newbies. Sounds great they are focusing on making their program the best around.
Good place to start...the magic carpet area's a bit small (which is good or bad depending on how you look at it) but they have a nice slow double chairlift that services three nice short trails. My daughter was initially spooked going onto chair lifts, and her first chairlift ride was on the Gunshy double at Gunstock.Cool. A buddy of mine wants to get his almost 4 year old started this season at Gunstock.
