Hmmmm. Wonder where that is going. Perhaps an expansion up the original single line (still gotta ski that!) or over by the jumps around the corner? Or just extending the current beginner area further along the mountain. Been forever since I have been there so I am having a hard time visualizing specific locations.

Sounds like they're maybe adding on to the current learning area. I'm pretty sure the county owns the land surrounding the ski area-I could be wrong. Anyway there is a lot of good terrain back there that could really spread the people out.

WFIF, I learned to ski at Gunstock and the mountain already has a phenomenal learning area and is a great place to bring newbies. Sounds great they are focusing on making their program the best around.

Cool. A buddy of mine wants to get his almost 4 year old started this season at Gunstock.

Good place to start...the magic carpet area's a bit small (which is good or bad depending on how you look at it) but they have a nice slow double chairlift that services three nice short trails. My daughter was initially spooked going onto chair lifts, and her first chairlift ride was on the Gunshy double at Gunstock.
