haystack?

I am wondering what is going on over at Haystack. Is there a new lift going in or any improvements? I used to enjoy it and hope it reopens to the public soon.

Now privately owned. Lots of work going on for a private ski club. Not sure if it will be open to the public. Welcome to the boards! :beer:

all indications i have heard suggest the mountain will not be open to the public, but i haven't heard any updates in at least half a year. last i heard, they were planning to see tickets to locals who live in the area, but would limit to a certain amount per day. that of course was not confirmed and came by way of the internet rumor mill and should be treated with due skepticism, but i am affraid the days of public skiing at haystack are done from all indications.

They plan on opening dec 06. Day ticket sales limited to 250 wilmington, vt residents only.
