Rain Friday and temps in the 60s next weekend.

Looks like nice soft snow for my VT trip. I hope it doesn't kill MRG.

Well, next weekend I'll be in the MRV. I hope there's no rain, but those 60 degree temps do hit for the time I'm there so I can enjoy some nice soft bumps on Castlerock and at MRG. I'm afraid if that rainstorm late this week is strong, it'll take out too much snow.

Just spoke to a friend who is a meterologist at a respectable weather forecasting service for Northern New England and he says 40 F or so, yes maybe, but not 60 F.

Spring is sweet in Utah, it's gotten to 50-60 degrees and no slush! Also went to Solitude yesterday and they had just gotten 8" of nice fresh powder during the night, and then sun, blue skies and warm temps later in the day. Life is good :) and then you go home:(

I'm depressed now.

*Sigh*

I suppose I should go give the road bike a cleaning, lube and tune. WTF. Sucky inconsistant NE winters. I wish I had some tangible entity on which to unleash my rage.

Spring skiing is awesome. Soft bumps, warm temps, party-like atmosphere...

I'm just not ready for it yet. Give us another month of winter.

I have crocus in my garden, just though I would share that with everyone. Time to go in the garage and get a big flat shovel to smash them with.

All the weather people here are happy as school children that it will be in the 60's this weekend, disgusting.

I wish it was spring at Whiteface the other day. OMG. Ice! But the spring skiing there should be great. Some serious vert.

Just got back from blizzard-like conditions in Tahoe- where I couldn't ski, thanks to my torn MCL. I was hoping for a big storm to push the season until things healed in 2 weeks. Now, this is just depressing.

My best friend is heading out to Solitude, Utah this weekend for four days of powder skiing. It is forecast to snow nearly every day while he is there, the lucky bastard.

I was joking with him yesterday that the powder I skied in last week at Plattekill would probably be deemed unfit for skiing in Utah and be groomed to perfection before it got skied on.

On the North Peak Triple...
NOAA says 51 for the Sunapee area which means high 40's...

Time to break out the Weber Baby Q, and start grilling on the beach at Sunapee!

 and
