Yes there are some that get carried away with the jonging, but generally they jong people that troll around or ask questions about gear or resorts that have been discussed many times and can be searched for. They also jong east coast skiers with posts that start off with "Should I get the K2 Pontoons or the Volkl Sumo for Stowe powder days". Well deserved IMO. I think the people on that board are great. The attitude is just different, its all about making fun of each other and trash talking one another.
Many amazing skiers on that board. I have skied with probably 8 or so people from TGR in Jay and Stowe... a couple of them were really good, but the rest were your run of the mill advanced skier. I think I am barely an advanced skier and i was able to keep up with most of them without too much trouble.
Good guys, don't let the silly, macho jonging fool you.
