I first found AZ when doing a web-search for some pre-season conditioning tips. I followed a link to the forums, liked what I saw and like the uncle that dropped by a few years ago, haven't left.

It appears that the reason that TGR(a film company)and NELSAP(non profit organization with a defined mission) have their own pages is that they exist in the real world and AZ is only in the virtual world. Oh well.

Well, I actually created the whole page last night, but they keep deleting it because they don't consider it relevant enough to have it's own page, even though I explained that it was every bit as relevant as NELSAP and TGR. Dammit.

Let me quote them:

:I have deleted the article, as it did not satisfy the [[WP:WEB|guidelines for websites]] nor likely will. Aside from that, there are no assertations of notability. Why is the website important in an encyclopedic context? Most likely it is not, and Wikipedia is not an internet yellow pages. Thanks for contributing, please read [[WP:ABOUT|what we're about]] to learn how you can help more in the future. I seem to be SOL. I'm not sure why they consider NELSAP or TGR of encyclopedic relevance if AZ is not. Oh well.

Point them to the Ski Area Challenge. There's some unique value in that. In fact, there are some references to the forums and challenge on the Killington and Sugarbush Wikipedia pages. I can see how NELSAP and TGR are considered to have more encyclopedic relevance, especially NELSAP. The "not an internet yellow pages" comment was pretty dicky though.

I included an entire paragraph on this topic, mentioning the bigger names and areas involved. Apparently it's just not encyclopedic enough for them :(
