Last year I made it to May 31 hiking for turns at Killington, (once again, thanks Ty :) ) . This year I'm hoping to extend that into June. How about everyone else? Outside of going to Southern Hemisphere resorts, what's the longest you skied?

I typically start in mid-late November and go until early to mid-April.

I used to make memorial day every year when killington actually tried to stay open as late as possible. Downdraft and cascade were better late season runs then superstar. Now i usually quit in late april early may.

Usually late December to late February or early March if I'm lucky. But that's all going to change next winter because I'll finally have my license.

used to go either november or december through april. now i aim for seven or eight months. last year i went from november 11th through july 2. this season started on october 23rd :D but unless tucks fills up quick will likely only go to sometime in june. don't let lifts dictate your season to you is my new philosophy. lots of skiers usually hike during the off season, why not combine the two on the margins and extend both seasons? ;)

Usually I start as soon as K or SR opens, so early to mid-november(early to mid october in 90's, boy i miss those days)and ski until May Day at SR.Sometimes I ski at K in May if the snow is good. On a side note, every year I hit Tucks in April.

This year i started October 28th at Wildcat. I will definitely make May Day at SR. I'd love to extend my season into June or July, but with 1st kid being due in June that most likely will not be an option this year.

Earliest on Snow was October 5-7 1995 or 1996 at SR. I can't remember the exact year, but it was a saturday while I was in college.

Also I skied at Tenney on July 4 (skiing on a 100 degree day) and October 4.

Never skied on a super-hot day. what's it like? Skied once on a pretty warm day, around 60-70. Strange feeling, cold coming from down below heat from above.

Yeah, good point. Skiing in 100 degrees, can't even imagine that!

Since I'm in Pennslyvania it's late March to Early April for me. Although I was thinking about hitting Killington for a day or two in late April. How are conditions at that time and what's normally open?

By the way, Hello everybody...great site here :D
