February is going to be a hard month to predict for me because we have a baby daughter due in the second week of the month so I'm not sure how it will effect my skiing time. I'll give myself a range of 5 - 10 days.

Hey congrats! That's one good reason to miss some skiing.

Gonna try for 10. Still hoping that the weather system Tuesday pushes back west a little so I can grab a powder day out of it.

Well I've already skied 2/1 and 2/2. I'm losing at least 1 day and a trip to New Hampshire due to a death in the family. The skiing I'll make up here at home, the trip up north will just be postponed to another date. I would say I'm looking at 10-15 days for Feb. Gonna really try to ramp it up in March and continue till Tax day.

I would think that 5-10 days is doable, we already have one and if Warren has a snow day tomorrow we will be at Mount Snow.

Shooting for twelve, have to work a lot during MA and NH vaca weeks. The mountains that I frequent will be way to busy for me during that time. Might go to the Kanc Rec. Area for some morning runs

5-10? Wow. We had a child in October, '07, and I got 10 days TOTAL last year. Methinks I'm going to have to have a discussion with the missus.

My friend Tom who joined me skiing here in Jackson Hole is up to 16 days and he has a 10 month old. He was telling me how his Dad stopped skiing for 5 years when he had kids and he's not giving up some of his best ski years..he mainly sneaks out for quick 3 hour sessions at Bridger Bowl..

My dad stopped for many years while we were growing up. I did not stop but certainly cut back. My wife and I used to buy 1 ticket and put it carefully (not visable) on a car key ring and take alternate runs. Illegal yes but we never got caught. It also helped that my parents were willing baby sitters at times. We put each of our children on ski's at 3 1/2 years old. This turned out to be great move as my daughter (now 15) is now an instructor at Camelback and my son is on the ski team there. It's great when you can just pack up the family and go.

It helps that I have 2 ski areas within 15 minutes of my house and I took a drastically reduced work schedule for this month so I'll hopefully get in a few days before she's born. After, we'll see - I figure I can still sneak out for a couple of hours in the afternoon while my son's in school, I'll just have to help out more when I'm home. I haven't run this by the wife yet so I'll find out how it goes over with her. Of course I'll also have to take my son skiing on weekend mornings that I'm home, he can't miss out.

I'm looking for 8 this month.

not skiing today or tomorrow so i'm out at 6 this month. i knew 8 would hard so i'm happy with what i got. Highlight of the month was trip to Crystal Mountain. didn't ski it well but it was a really cool place i hadn't been to before.

my goal is 30 for the year so I need to push hard through March. :smash:

Counting tomorrow, I'll have a grand total of 6 this month. Working like a dog and trying to put more face time at work wipes me out at the end of the day. Haven't skied at Wa in about 2 weeks!

I will finish the month tomorrow with 22 days in. That will put me at 60 for the season so far.

Let's say 7. Hopefully more.

Tomorrow will make 11. All Sundown except tomorrow here at Killington on crap conditions. Got more than I hoped and will finish and end the month with family days. Didn't venture north much though and missed the epicness this last week.

hit the number I predicted at 5, 15 total for the season so far. 75% of my last season's total of 20. Jealous of you all who get in 30+ days a season...but I make the best of what I've got to work with schedule/location wise in life.

Been a great season so far though, lots of variety, solid conditions and I have gotten to ski with several Azers where as prior to this season, that total was only one. Really can't complain.
