A tempting offer . . .

Was thinking of driving up Wednesday night, staying there, and skiing Thursday and driving home.

Bad timing for me...Hunter day is Friday 12/14 and I'm committed to being there.

Looking for skiing on Wednesday...that would mean driving up tomorrow afternoon/night.

Ehh . . . No good for me . . .Some other time, maybe? We still have a long ski season ahead of us (knock on wood). I'm sure we can figure something out.

Sounds best...I'm kind of looking at Monday of next week now anyway. That could be the mother lode.

Maybe a day at Gore or Whiteface.

today was 22. Took a 3 day road trip to monarch/crested butte. I week total was 81 inches and my legs are killing from skiing bumps at crested butte. Back to loveland or copper tomorrow.

Was Crested Butte crowded for their free skiing?

I went to monarch on sunday and crowds were not an issue. Did c.b. on mon/tues for free and crowds were pretty light, but there were a good amount of people (no liftlines though) taking advantage of free ski. I heard the weekend was crazy. They had some steep trees open and I heard they are going to open the really scary stuff this week.

zero for me I tend to start late December and go until the last possible day. I like more than the groomers so i would like to save my money for the part of the season I love, depending on weather I might go this weekend and hopefully I can ski into may this year again.

Just got in from # 10.

Didn't get going until mid-January last season and still managed to get 40 in so I have high hopes for this year.

Last year, I skied Thanksgiving day and didn't get back out until mid-January.

I'm at 12 days this year. I should be up over 20 days by New Years.
