Just Qualified. No I am not, I know a few who have been in the past. Usually out in the first chair rush. Mid week I ski most of the day. Weekends it depends on how the snow holds up. Eyes open for you.
I generally ski out of Barker, first chair (In line at open, sometimes, THE first chair). I typically ski until noonish, give or take, depending on the snow. If I ski out of South Ridge, it means I have grandkids or the ski widow. Weekdays only (bronze pass).
I'll keep an eye out for you tomorrow. I generally boot up near the emergency exit by the small store at Barker.
When skiing alone, I put a lot of skiing in, ski onto the lift and ski as soon as my skis hit the snow. I never stop anywhere, my poles are ready when I hit the snow. I generally zig zag around all the people who stop after getting off the lifts to adjust something or another and put their poles and discuss where they want to ski... That kind of skiing leaves me rubber legged early in the season after a couple hours. I like it when my legs get to midseason form.
