..:lol:....and his pieced together shack...that had been erected at far back corner of main parking lot is now resting at the Killington local dump.

Evening Visitation Hours(next Friday): 8-10pm
Donations for one and only session of ski tuning to be made out to Boyne, Killington Ski Shop...

It's not a "dump". It's a "transfer station".

Please send check, money order or even tissues to:

AFHCB
Alpinezoners for Helping Cry Babies
P.O. Box 100
Killington, VT 05751

But wait there's more....the first 50 Azers to donate shall receive a limited addition personal signed portrait of Chris Nyberg

Thank you, and please keep Highwaystar in your thoughts during these tragic times.

I sent a wad of tissues, but they were used. Is that OK? Do I still get my signed portrait??

You actually get one of Nyberg AND Tom Horracks as a reward for your green initiative in donating recycled tissues.

As soon as Spencer Tunick finishes printing them, I'll get them off in the mail right away to you.

I say we just hold an official AZ / HS ski-off day.

Already been done over on TGR, and apparently, despite the attitude, the dude really does have the chops. Probably more so than you. Ill have to look up the thread when Im not at work.

As you are all aware, our brother Highwaystar is under extreme distress due to his perception that the management at Killington is purposefully operating in a manner that is harmful to his well being.

Try as many have to console him, his condition is becoming worse and worse by the day and the level of delusion in his thought processes and behavior is increasing at an alarming rate.

There is a cure, but it will require extensive resources. This is where I need your help. In a few select regions of this continent, the help exists to get Highwaystar back on track and resume a life of skiing fulfillment. These places include Mt. Hood, OR; Summit County, CO; Whistler, BC to name a few.

If everyone bands together we can help our distressed brother out and relocate him to one of these areas where he will find the help he needs. It is clear that he needs relieve from the tyranny of Killington's management that will stop at nothing to take direct and personal aim at him in attempt to destroy his skiing soul. Your contribution will help to prevent this from happening.

Please send check, money order or even tissues to:

I remember a thread on Epicski where he put up a vid of himself skiing. He looks like he's a good skier from what I saw. That said, I know lots of good skiers, so what?

I know alot of good skiers and riders as well, especially here in Jackson.

I just think a bandwagon is forming against him just because hes opinionated. Everyone has slammed Killington for over a year now and its all good, but now Highway Star comes in with a bit of attitude and they all take the high horse ("oh good on them, theyre making an effort"). While I personally never faulted Killington for changing to a sustainable business model, I have no problem with others voicing their thoughts on the matter. For someone like HS, who loves K and has skied it for years, I can see how he might be pissed.

Anyways, back to the point, its pretty stupid how much the tune has changed. Just an interesting aspect of this board and highlights the bandwagon aspect similar to the MRG and Sugarbush halo effects, everyone suddenly thinking bumps are the shit cause Gregs all about em, et all.

That’s what I like about you Aride, you always come strong. I think I’ve mentioned the MRV halo effect thing a time or 2 myself.;-)

In fairness to Greg he is the cult leader of the C.L.I.T.S. and there’s no sense in having a cult if they’re not going to mindlessly follow their leader.

So apparently besides living in Connecticut, owning bump skis and mountain biking there is a new tenant that you have to admire the effort Kmart is making.

I’m the one who has done the research and revealed their existence on this very board, but even I have trouble keeping up with the inner workings of the C.L.I.T.S. So thanks for the help.

I have no issues with HS for being opinionated and honestly, I can see some of his points of contention with Killington. My issue is that the ONLY thing it seems he ever posts about is negative threads on Killington. If he talked about a few other things, he'd be tolerable to me, but the dude appears to be on a mission to take on the establishment that is Killington and turn the whole world against them. If he's not doing that, he's acting like an A-hole towards other members of this forum.

he just goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on are you getting annoyed reading this yet and on and on and on and on and on and on.

I'd probably shoot myself if I was that obsessed with one area of my life and all I had to say was negative things about it.

Please stop...

You're asking me to stop when it was you who started chit with me????

If you took offense to me authoring this thread against HS, that's fine, but if you expect me not to say something back to you when unprovoked you tell me to get a life......:???:

I have no interest in getting in a flame war with you at all and I'll stop, but man if you're gonna lob insults, expect them to be fired right back.

+1

It's the dead horse effect. I get that people don't like what POWDR did last year. I get that people didn't like what ASC did. But HS's attitude is destructive; all it will do is get people to ignore him, even when making valid points.

It's the attitude, not the opinion.
