I have to point your incorrect about HS problem as being OCD... OCD is characterized by a person needing to perform a certain ritual in the belief that if it is not done something bad will happen. This ritual permance reaches a point where it controls their life. HS behavior would be more characterize as a personality disorder ...

I remember a thread on Epicski where he put up a vid of himself skiing. He looks like he's a good skier from what I saw. That said, I know lots of good skiers, so what?

I remembered that, too . . .

It was within maybe the most entertaining thread in the history of the internet . . . All those instructor types at Epic (some qualified, some decidedly not) taking apart every second of the video, and Highway Star defending his skiing to the death.

IMO he leans back way too far on his tails (a bad habit aided by his choice of ridiculously long skis) in the clip (I'm sure he's gotten better since then). But the very fact that he's so aggressive and confident in his own abilities, it's absolutely impossible to take anything away from him. He is who he is, and he doesn't take any $hit from anyone.

Something oddly inspiring about that . . .

He was at the top and got to bottom in one piece..he looked pretty good to me doing it but then again what do I know about skiing ..
Keven is a great skier the snow on DF that day was breakable crust!
I would like to see anyone load the tips of their skis in those conditions.

And I dig those crazy silver spray painted flexon comps!
That alone takes balls.
(too bad he lets his ego run wild here on the internet)

To me the funny thing about people with big egos is they don't seem to get that no one really cares how good they are at anything.

Being centered doesn't mean loading the tips . . .

Regardless, his skiing has been discussed at length here, so I don't really want to go into it anymore. I would like to see how he skis now, though . . . I wonder is he has any more recent vids?

Breakable Crust dig? If you have come across it you know that being centered would not help you out unless you are doing hop turns.
Yeah I have read that thread But one thing that all the epic boys and gurls missed was they were not there that day. guess what?
(I was there and I skied DF that day and if you were there too you would not have made that comment), thats all I am saying.
Peace.

Easy, Bro . . .

I'm just a random guy on the internet with an opinion. If you don't like it, ignore it.

And even if I was there, I'm pretty sure the "breakable crust" wouldn't make me ski like this:

But that's why I wanted to see more video . . . What does he ski like on "normal" snow?

I believe in that video he is skiing the Fiddle at Killington and if it was breakable crust that is not an easy trail to ski in those conditions. I've seen him ski and he skis fast and pretty good.
