My college roommate, Joe. Some of you know him. He was always asking me to go skiing. One snowy morning I woke up and said, "let's go skiing today." That was it.

Maybe I'll buy a shack up there with what little money I'm going to end up with after I dump the house. beats a hotel room.

Due to my love of all things snow related, I probably would have learned to ski, but it's thanks to my parents that I started skiing when I was 6 or 7, and that they got me out often enough for me to really learn and improve.
