“Indy Pass resort partners that leverage Entabeni’s suite of ski area management applications will be at the forefront of this innovation. They will exclusively participate in direct-to-lift, tap-to-redeem programs, or both. Magic Mountain, Vermont, Beaver Mountain, Utah, and Bluewood, Washington, have confirmed their participation in this cutting-edge technology.

Utilizing new scanning hardware at the participating resorts, Indy passholders selected for the program will have their visits expedited by going directly to the lift or using a faster ticket window process.”

Not clear exactly how this will be implemented at Magic, fingers crossed it will be direct to lift

It looked like Bluewood was using their system for a bunch of stuff last year, not just tickets. It seemed fine for buying stuff. Just takes forever to register in their system to be able to get a lift ticket. I always know to show up extra early if an area is using Entabeni unless I already have a card for that area.

The most surprising thing last year was at Swiss Valley. They're not using the Entabeni system, but they let me use my physical Indy Pass for RFID. Now I never got scanned, so who knows if it would have actually worked, I assume it would have.

Just saw that Mt. Ashland confirmed they are leaving. Wonder if they're gonna go back to their reciprocal deal with Cooper. Maybe they'll join Powder Alliance. With PowMow also leaving, Indy's gonna have to sign up more places to meet their 200 resort promise.

Yeah, that's too bad. With them gone it makes a Shasta/Oregon trip less appealing. Had a great day there 2 years ago. Fresh powder lasted all day. Fun steep steep stuff when the chutes are open. They are kinda short though.

Swiss Valley Michigan?

I know they aren't Entabeni and I know they don't use RFID, they require everyone including season pass holders and on-snow staff to get a paper ticket on a wicket.

Oops, my bad, that should have been Little Switzerland in Wisconsin.

Got a text from them just now. Opening pass purchases again and New Resorts Added. Ragged NH is a score. I'll pass on the two in Maine.

Newly added resorts include:
  • Anihari Ski Resort, Japan
  • Camden Snow Bowl, ME
  • Cape Smokey, NS
  • Hatley Pointe, NC
  • Maiko Snow Resort, Japan
  • Middlebury Snowbowl, VT
  • Mt. Abram, ME
  • Nayoro Piyashiri Ski Resort, Japan
  • Palcall Tsumagoi Resort, Japan
  • Ragged Mountain, NH

Sweet. Super pumped for these three additions.
There are five Northeast additions:
  • Camden Snow Bowl, ME
  • Cape Smokey, NS
  • Middlebury Snowbowl, VT
  • Mt. Abram, ME
  • Ragged Mountain, NH
I’m psyched to check out the ocean views at Camden Snow Bowl

What has happened to us each of the past few years is we end up burning a Cannon or WV day waiting for later in the season to not burn days at either early. Then we run out of season. Adding those two extra days in NH will make it less likely we do that because we won't be as concerned about running out of local days to use.

I used just one day at Cannon and WV. Thought I'd make it back again later but then the season kind of just ended. This year I'll do less time at Loon (maybe pass on it altogether) and more at WV, Cannon and now Ragged. Oh and one day at Black NH if the conditions are good and it somehow manages to open again.

Indy is really a spectacular deal for NH (really New England as a whole) skiing.

I live in the Upper Valley, and within 45 minutes I have 8 days between Dartmouth, Suicide 6, Whaleback, Ragged. Make that an hour and I've got another 2 days each at Cannon, Pats and Waterville. Now within 1.5 you add Jay, Bolton, Middlebury, Black and a few others. Unreal value.

Can’t believe Ragged finally came on board, I’d given up. Abram is a sweet bonus, I’ll definitely use the 4 days at those two.

Maybe Burke will finally come around and become a full addition instead of just being a 50% off mountain.

Great news today though!

I would assume you pick one as home mountain, doesn't really matter because the indy days are useless if you already have a pass.

Anyone know if indy cares about discount season passes? Thinking indy addon to cannon NH resident pass.

I had the add on to my 299 cannon vet pass last year. All for under 500!

I guess I would have a couple ragged tickets for friends and a couple additional jay tickets.

I guess Abram is the first to leave and come back.

These new additions are great for me. Was thinking about a Maine/Maritimes trip this year.
