Agreed, but then one might think they'd be ubiquitous in uniform jackets, let alone ski jackets in general...but they aren't. They make it much easier if the alignment or height of the gate isn't ideal, as moving your arm is a lot better than trying to move a hip pocket. The latter can be a lot more amusing to watch, though.

Totally agree. I have a North Face jacket and it's the best feature on the garment IMO. But I rarely use that jacket.

Instead, I use an old cell phone holder from back in the 2000's. Just put the pass in it and slip it on my left arm, then put my shell on over it and cinch the arm cuffs. it naturally winds up near my wrist.

I do give off a lot of negative vibes while skiing, that's probably why my cards keep failing.

Skied S6 today with my daughter. Had most of the snowmaking terrain open with one more by the broken down double that just needed to be pushed out. A couple of the natural trails open including Show Off under the Quad. Pretty thin. A few bumps. Definitely the steepest trail her 6 year old self has tried. She did great even amusing the ski patroller skiing along side us.

Had to sign an Indy waiver, but it was just a form you signed both names with a pen. Took two seconds. Still old school wicker tickets. So, kinda weird to have to sign a waiver, but I guess that's the world we live in now.

Jay today on Indy was great! Fun day. No real lines today. No more than a 3 minute wait.
They state that it has snowed everyday there this year until today.

Indy pass redemption at Cannon yesterday was easy … reloaded my Cannon RFID card online, put the card in my pocket and went directly to lift, no waivers or standing in ticket line required. Why can’t every Indy mountain be like this ? Also FWIW, noticed they were using Entabini branded handheld scanners in the lift line. Went to Waterville the day before and they require you to stand in line to redeem your Indy pass. They also have an unusual system where you have to attach your Waterville RFID card to the outside of your jacket with an old school plastic ticket wicket which they then scanned by hand in the lift lines.

Yes, the Cannon redemption is great, a bit clunky making the reservation online but straight to the lift is nice. Magic has the same system and is straight to the lift as well, once you have the RFID. Strange about Waterville as we were not given plastic ties on Friday. We had the cards in a pocket all day and were hand scanned the usual way through the coat.
