My skis are in their locker.

My clothes are in their closet.

My helmet is on it's shelf.

My boots are on the floor of the entrance closet. They're starting to creep toward the door but I tell them it is too early to get up.

The skis are in a closet my wife and I know as "The Black Hole"
My ski jacket is in the coat closet.
My thermals, fleece, etc. are in a plastic storage container under our bed.
My helmet, goggles, poles, and gloves are in the trunk of my car, because I haven't removed them yet.

Skis are in the basement, right next to the door to my garage. I see them at least two times every day...

My ski's are in my ski bag in the garage, located right next to my lawn tractor. Every time I cut the grass, I think about skiing

Skis are in their rack, coats are in the closet, and I'm not real sure where my wife put our boots. I was looking for them so I could let Greg know what kind of bag I've got, but she's hidden them (and wasn't home to ask).

everything - skis and clothes - are in the basement in the house in NH. The skis are all lines up, leaning against the wall. I can hear them talking to me every time I go down to turn on the hot water. I think they're counting down the days....

My skis and boots travel during the off-season; happy and relaxed equipment makes for better wintertime sliding.

Last I checked, they were run out of Vegas for counting cards at the Blackjack table.

I had a skiing dream

I know exactly where my gear is....and I check on it regularly.

More importantly, I had a skiing dream over the weekend. Here I was concerned that with my recent purchases off boots and skis, that (per usual) I may have lost interest as evidenced by my current lack of enthusiasm for the sport.

My concern stems from my historical "the chase is more fun than the kill" mentality....so with the new gear I was afraid that maybe the thrill was gone (Thank you BB King).

However, after waking up SUnday morning fresh from a fabulous dream of ripping up packed powder and arc-ing some great turns of various shapes on that new gear (very vivid color dream)....I'm leaing toward my alternative hypothesis: A season for everything. Maybe I'm just enjoying the summer weather, the pool, the yardwork, the wood-splitting, et al.

So maybe I've finally accomplished the ability to "not wish my time away" and enjoy every season for what it provides. And if it provides opportunities to either enjoy and/or get ready to enjoy skiing.....so be it!

My equipment is sitting in the POD with about 75% of the rest of what we own as we wait to close on our house...

All of my gear is stored in the closet. My ski clothes are piled neatly on top of my dresser since they don't really have a home in a drawer. They got used so frequently last year I never made space for them.. ;)
