I know a patroller up there and he was working last night. 2 college kids took a couch from the lodge and managed to get it up to the top of one of the lifts.

They also opened the big air jump at the bottom of Look Ma which resulted in 4 people being taken in an ambulance. Needless to say it wasn't open long.

Funny about the couch..it must be a nice lodge if there are couches..Blue mountains lodge only has plastic chairs..and too bad about all the injuries..some of the booters they build are just too massive for all the Tom Dick and Harrys..

I saw a couch at Whaleback. They get really gross really fast and don't stand up to abuse from the boot-wearing crowd....

I'm going to be VERY curious to see how the couple of couches that Mount Snow put in the Carinthia lodge this year infront of the X-Box hold up. Mid season atleast they still look decent and safe to sit on without worrying abour catching some type of communicable disease

Kinda funny. I suppose they discovered it in the morning?

Is that the one they've had roped off where the 1/2 pipe usually is?

Seems like, absent any assistance from a snowmobile, getting a couch to the top of the mountain would be way, way more work than it's worth. Unless you were going to sled down on it. In which case the dissapointment of that not working must have been crushing.

sorry but the picture is a little underwhelming after reading the title of this thread.

What else can I do? I wasn't there when they brought the couch up the lift. Now it's not much more than a couch sitting in the snow at the top of the lift. I wasn't there to take pics of it happening, I just got a pic to prove it happened.
