My wife and I will be heading up to Killington for a mid-week day this week. Where's the best place to park to access Intermediate groomer trails? W'll be coming from the south up Route 100. The last time we skied there was 8-10 years ago and during mid-week, many lifts weren't running. It seemed we spent the whole day traversing from one area to another, we really couldn't find a good area that had several intermediate runs to chose from. There could have been limited terrain open so that could have been part of the problem, can't really remember. .

Mid-week you can park pretty much anywhere....

Skyeship Base is always empty, and allows for a nice long relaxing run back at the end of the day.

Bear is also usually pretty empty, and Skyeburst and Bear Claw/Bear Trap go into it.

Rams Head lot usually leaves you with a fairly long walk and a crappy start/end spot.

K-1 lot is going to be a bit of a walk, but it gives you access to pretty much anywhere you want to go, and is easy to get back to at the end of the day.

If your going midweek I would go right to the K-base lodge. The best acess to the mtn. and great skiing. There are few people midweek

But if they are coming from 100 South, I would say either Bear or Skyship... Especially Skyeship, once you're at the top, its intermediates everywhere...
