Email I got today.....

Spring Skiing until April 20th!

Due to great snow conditions and business levels we’re adding a week on to the end of the season. Spring has yet to make an appearance here at Killington, but with the season going until April 20th, we’ll have plenty of days to harvest that famous spring corn snow! We’ll be offering late-season ticket prices beginning Monday and right through closing day on Sunday, April 20th. Check the Snow Report for daily rate and conditions information.

Just saw an email saying that Okemo's closing has been pushed back to the 20th as well...

I'm currently ripping around the internet posting this "for the record" statement in all the threads about closing dates and certain VT resorts pounding chests about "extending" their closing dates to 4/20.

Of course, I wouldn't think of skipping alpinezone. :)

Sunday River April 27 and Sugarloaf May 4...at least!

If you're bored you can go find all my posts like a scavenger hunt saying the same thing. Don't be afraid to suggest others I have missed.

Happy Spring!

Killington's new motto:

Still our earliest closing ever, but hey, at least we extended it.

I hope someone is open during the week on April 21-25... maybe it'll be Mount Snow... unfortunately I won't drive all the way to Maine that time of year.

If someone cares to do me a favor, my login at Barking Bear at epicski.com is having a problem. There's a thread there that is calling my name. I'll owe ya one. Just state the facts for me. They speak volumes. :)

A little wager, DJAK?

If Mount Snow stays open later than Sunday River, you send me a couple of lobsters. If Sunday River stays open later than us, I'll send you some fresh maple syrup. You in?

I thought this was just a informative post to people that Killington would be staying open later.....Not a chance for all the other mountains to say how great they are...I don't care about SL/SR, Mt. Snow, SugerBush, I don't even care about Killington. I was just sharing some info I got.......

Killington discussions are pretty much as close to politics discussions that you can get here on AZ without having a thread get zapped.

I hear Hillary digs it there, but O'bama is more of a MRG guy
