Went to Killington on Monday. Was hoping for the infamous Super Star killer bumps top to bottom. Only to find it all but flat! Very boring! Having spent all weekend bumping it up at Sugarbush. I was truly sad to not get a lot more.

i'm sure there could/should have been more bumps but there were good lines on lower skiers right & left in addition to skye hawk & lower skye lark. definitely something k needs to address next season.

Geoff and I don't agree on much, much I like to read his posts and enjoy reading his point of view. He has history and days skied on his side.

That's it. I'm outta here.

You're a big bad K-zoner and that little rib is gonna bother you? Please...

You're entitled to think what you want. Let me just say though, if it was you that stumbled upon me and my crew BBQing in the parking lot like I did with your group a few weeks back, we would have most definitely offered you a beer and a piece of effin' kielbasa at least. Instead I got quite the cold shoulder. Just sayin'...

Agreed 100%. I'll keep it real though, a little bit of a know-it-all-ness to his posts, but I can live with that and I do appreciate his passion and experience regarding all things Killington. Gotta lighten up on this one though.

Geoff was at me for liking Loon and its Groomers in the past. I enjoy a good debate. I think he comes off as matter of fact, but we are sitting at a keyboard. Hard to get a clear take. I will keep reading his post here and elsewhere. He is on the list of people I would like to meet. I consider him a credible reference.

Wait is Geoff an a-hole in real life??

No, I didn't get any impression Geoff was an a-hole in real life. However, while Tyrolean was very welcoming to me; I just didn't get that from the others, but I understand some folks are shy or quiet when you first meet them. Ain't no thing really, but I thought it was a bit ironic to be labeled "asshole" for a harmless little rib by someone who came off as "bothered" when I first met him in real life. Still, it makes me believe he thought I was an asshole long before that post or even meeting him. It's very possible that I misread the situation, I guess.

I agree with all you said. If I knew my little jab would offend him so much, I wouldn't have said it. Just a bit surprised by the response. Geoff - I'm sorry that I offended you.

As far as I know..Geoff has been an asshole since the late 90s when he used to troll my posts on rec skiing Alpine and the Ski Vermont discussion list...

actually that "I'm outa here" almost seems to me to be a tongue-in-cheek imitiation of a famous poster who used to do that all the time on KZone - can't exactly remember who it was right now. Its pretty much out of character for Geoff...
