What is going on with these two mountains? I know that Maple Valley is up for sale and and the locals near Hogback say that they might reopen Hogback so I am just wondering what is going on.

Maple Valley: for sale.

Hogback: I think it may be reopening as a private ski club/small hill. Someone in NELSAP would know.

MARLBORO -- Owners of Hogback Mountain say they rejected an offer on the property made by the Trust for Public Land because it did not accurately reflect the value of the land and the process was taking too long. TPL offered a $10,000 deposit for an option period of seven months. The deposit was refundable for a period of 60 days.. "That was not acceptable," said Dan Purjes, general partner of the Skyline Partners, Inc. "That's not a real
