Is Middlebury still worth the time if the Bailey Falls chair isn't running? Xwhaler and I are planning on being there on a Monday in mid March. We have Fox 44 cards and want to maximize them.

No snowmaking on the Bailey's fall side that I'm aware of, I don't think they ever groom it either. I think the only trails they blow snow on are Allen & Ross on the front side & a trail or two off the Sheehan lift. Everything else is au-natural. Skied there a lot in my youth but have only been there a couple of times recently, non this season so far.I agree that the frontside offers a lot of good variety. You will be surprised how steep those runs are.
Bailey's Falls is a slower CTEC Triple. It is fun to ski back there because it feels so remote and wild, but honestly you only lose like three or so trails. I think that terrain is all natural too with little or no snowmaking.

Thanks for the feedback all.
We both really want to ski all of Middlebury's offerings so revised our itinerary to hit Middlebury on a Saturday and MRG Monday (fewer lines)
So it should work out really well---looking fwd to that trip!
