We have been blowing the crap out of the mountain. 7 trails, 3 lifts currently, with a few more possibly opening later today.

Before I post it anywhere else, I'll post it here -- today we move the guns to Belt Parkway, Off-Broadway, Lower Madison/Mossy and probably all of Mossy Brook.

The weather doesn't look great for day snowmaking for the next few days (starting during the week), but we are opening trails like crazy. We are REALLY pumping it out, it is insane. Our snowmaking manager said today will have some incredible conditions.

Also I know everyone hates the website and there's not an "open trails and lifts" area but we are working on it. There is some coding bug on the developer-side, and they all took long Thanksgiving weekends, so it probably won't be operational until Monday, unfortunately.

7am this morning --

It's summit to base right now. Ike has nothing yet, but soon. They got Madison first, but they'll cover to the other mid-station fingers soon enough.

The East trails (Minya, ESD) are my favorites, so I'm waiting for them, but they may take awhile....Snowmaking is kind of doing the ones feeding into and out of Mid-station, and some of the beginner stuff right now, which is a huge priority....we're covering a lot of ground really fast. I was told they could cover the entire Belt in one night and open it tomorrow morning, so that is pretty crazy.

Things are looking pretty promising for tomorrows mini-AZ day! Although NOAA says its going to be in the 40s tomorrow, might get a bit slushy?

I don't think it'll get to slush. It'll get broken up a bit, maybe at the bottom it will be a little spring-ish, but low 40's isn't too bad. And it is damned cold at the top, so it won't be that warm everywhere.

It's going to rule! 40 is the high so it will take some time to get there. Should be nice skiing.

I'm really getting psyched to hit Hunter for the first time ever on the 14th. If the weather keeps up you guys should be in great shape by then.

To be honest, I would never have considered the place if it wasn't for this board.

Sounding good, any predictions for what we could expect to see next weekend?

That would be pretty amazing.

Ditto----Without a doubt I'd never even think of going there if it wasn't for a few of the reviews on this board. But then again, skiing is like pizza and sex. When it's good it's GREAT, and when it's bad it's still pretty good.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, think I'll have pizza for lunch.

That water leak on the belt got worse, apparently. No Belt for tomorrow. Off Broadway, Madison for tomorrow.

They also swapped D lift to B lift, so B, Quad and C will be open tomorrow.

It'll be fixed, there was just a tiny window to make more snow during the day, and that leak set us back too much for sure. We're turning the guns off tomorrow morning, weather will be too warm. Snow is holding up great though.
