Not to thread jack, but I agree- great read. I'm on the last Appollo mission now, and it's a little depressing, sort of. Kind of shows how badly we went off the rails in the '70's. And I don't just mean bell bottom pants.

Too bad Washington didn't put as much "Failure isn't an Option" kind of mindset into aircraft maintenance regulation....might've kept Werner VB kicking for a few years more....

Pretty sure I saw it on the list when I was looking on my wife's Nook. There's a second book, "Fade to White", as well.
